Visa policy
What we provide for your student visa, what we can and cannot do, and what you are responsible for.

01General information
Time to Turkish teaches Turkish to international students at our campuses in Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara, and online. Many of our students need a visa to study with us in Türkiye.
Which visa you need depends on your nationality, how long you plan to stay and the type of course you take. You are responsible for checking and meeting the visa rules that apply to you, both in your home country and in Türkiye.
02Documents we provide
For students on a face-to-face course, we can issue:
- Enrolment confirmation letter
- Course acceptance letter
- Payment confirmation
- Attendance certificate, where it applies
We issue these documents only once your booking is confirmed and the full course fee has been paid.
03Visa approval
Our consultants help you prepare and submit your visa file, but the decision belongs only to the embassy or consulate of the country you apply to.
We cannot guarantee that your visa will be approved, we cannot influence the embassy or consulate’s decision, and we are not responsible if your application is refused.
04Refunds if your visa is refused
If your visa application is refused, you may be able to get part of your payment back. To ask for this:
- Send us written proof of the refusal from the embassy or consulate.
- Whether you are eligible, and how much you get back, depends on when you cancel and on our standard cancellation terms.
The €50 registration fee is not refundable in any case. See the refund policy for the full cancellation terms.
05Residence permit (ikamet)
If you stay in Türkiye long-term, you will usually need a residence permit (ikamet). We can provide the supporting school documents for your application.
The permit itself is issued by the Turkish authorities. We are not responsible for whether it is approved.
06Travel and health insurance
You must have valid health or travel insurance when you enter Türkiye, and you are responsible for arranging it. If you would like help, we can arrange travel health insurance for you on request.
07Accuracy of your information
Please give us complete and correct personal details when you apply. Missing or wrong information can delay your documents or lead to a visa refusal, and we are not responsible for the results of errors in the information you provide.
08Requesting visa documents
If you need an enrolment letter, a course acceptance letter or another official document, contact us. We reply within 1–2 business days.
